Daegu Mayor Kwon Young-jin Rolls Up His Sleeves for Middle-Aged Job Opportunities

Daegu Mayor Kwon Young-jin Rolls Up His Sleeves for Middle-Aged Job Opportunities Kwon Young-jin, Mayor of Daegu.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] Daegu City has taken proactive steps to support the "backbone of employment" and help middle-aged and older adults find new jobs.

On the 17th, to create new job opportunities for middle-aged and older adults facing economic difficulties due to the impact of COVID-19, Daegu City's One-Stop Job Support Center decided to provide a job creation support program.

The "Daegu City Beautiful Middle-aged Happy Job Job Communication Community," held in the first quarter of this year, offers middle-aged job seekers the opportunity to establish practical action strategies for their job search activities and employment.

Additionally, an SNS channel will be opened to share job-related information with participants, and individual mentoring coaching will also be provided.

A Daegu City official said, "We hope this job program will be a source of strength for middle-aged job seekers in the region who are struggling to find employment and provide a hopeful opportunity to develop job preparation capabilities."

More detailed information can be found on the Daegu City One-Stop Job Support Center website, and inquiries can be made by phone.
