Mokpo National University Department of Child Studies signed a business agreement with Moa Mom Childcare Foundation to enhance the employment capabilities of its students. ⓒ Asia Economy
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Mokpo National University (President Park Min-seo) announced on the 9th that it signed a business agreement with MoaMom Childcare Foundation (CEO Chae Hye-seon) at 10 a.m. on the 8th to strengthen the employment capabilities of students in the Department of Child Studies (Department Head Kim Jeong-hwa) and to receive support from specialized institutions related to employment.
Through this business agreement, the Department of Child Studies will receive support for childcare practice institutions from MoaMom Childcare Foundation and cooperate regarding students' employment.
Additionally, both institutions agreed to strengthen ties and engage in mutual exchange to foster excellent childcare teachers and establish a high-quality childcare environment.
Kim Jeong-hwa, head of the Department of Child Studies, said, “This business agreement provided an opportunity to secure excellent daycare centers affiliated with MoaMom Childcare Foundation where students can practice,” adding, “It is expected to have the effect of increasing the employment rate of the Department of Child Studies as it can be linked to future employment.”
After the business agreement, at a special lecture on ‘Strengthening Employment Capabilities’ for students of the Department of Child Studies, CEO Chae Hye-seon introduced MoaMom Childcare Foundation and explained the operation activities of MoaMom’s commissioned daycare centers as well as the recruitment and management system of staff.
MoaMom Childcare Foundation is a leading specialized institution in Korea for the commissioned operation of workplace daycare centers. Currently, it operates daycare centers commissioned by over 130 public institutions and large corporations, including the National Tax Service, Korea Gas Corporation, and Korea Electric Power Technology.
