This is analyzed to reflect the growing premium living market due to increased time spent at home caused by COVID-19, and the demand for light and warm sleeping arrangements outdoors due to the camping and car camping craze.
Lotte Department Store is planning large-scale goose down discount events and has set up a ‘Goose Down Specialty Zone’ within the living goods section. Notably, last month, to celebrate its 42nd anniversary, it held a ‘Goose Down Fair’ featuring various bedding brands such as Sopraum and Allermand, along with exclusive goose down products, which gained great popularity. The 2.5 billion KRW worth of goose down products prepared at that time were sold out, and until the 19th, some popular products will be restocked and sold at the Lotte Department Store main branch and Lotte ON.
A Lotte Department Store official said, “In the past, customers preparing for weddings and dowries at relatively high prices were the main customers of goose down bedding, but nowadays, many campers are also visiting, and the goose down market is growing further,” adding, “We will continue to strive to offer good products at reasonable prices.”
