K Bank to Supply 465 Billion KRW to Low- and Medium-Credit Borrowers by October This Year


[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] K-Bank announced on the 26th that the amount of credit loans supplied to low- to medium-credit customers from the beginning of this year until October has reached 465 billion KRW.


In the first half of the year, 256.8 billion KRW was supplied, and in the second half, up to October, 208.2 billion KRW was supplied, recording a cumulative annual total of 465 billion KRW.


Compared to last year, the supply of credit loans to low- to medium-credit customers has significantly increased this year. From January to October last year, the supply amount was 220.8 billion KRW, but during the same period this year, it recorded 465 billion KRW, achieving growth of more than 2.1 times.


K-Bank has been accelerating the expansion of the proportion of credit loans to low- to medium-credit customers by significantly enhancing customer benefits since the fourth quarter.


A K-Bank official said, "To expand credit loans to low- to medium-credit customers, we are providing differentiated benefits such as the industry's first cashback of two months' loan interest," adding, "Based on this, the proportion of credit loans to low- to medium-credit customers continues to show an increasing trend."
