[Asia Economy Reporter Yoon Dong-joo] On the 28th, during the plenary session held at the National Assembly, a revision bill of the National Assembly Act to establish a branch of the National Assembly building in Sejong City was passed. This opens the way for the National Assembly to operate outside of Seoul for the first time in 73 years since the Constituent Assembly, the first National Assembly after liberation, convened in May 1948.
