The Association of Daycare Centers Issues a Statement Opposing the Dissolution of LH.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Jinju City Daycare Center Association in Gyeongnam held a press conference at the Jinju City Hall briefing room on the 4th, expressing opposition to the "one-sided dismantling of LH."

On this day, the Daycare Center Association strongly urged, "We demand the cancellation of the government's one-sided LH innovation plan that does not reflect the opinions of local residents," and "Prepare a common-sense and rational innovation plan that reflects regional and contemporary demands."

They also emphasized, "While the misconduct and corruption of some LH employees must be firmly punished, structural reorganization at the level of dismantling the organization and superficial measures are not fundamental solutions," and "A one-sided reform plan without local residents' participation and communication will cause great frustration and damage to the local community, so a reform plan that coexists with the region must be prepared."

Jung Min-jung, president of the Jinju City Daycare Center Association, stated, "It is true that LH has greatly contributed to the development of the underdeveloped western Gyeongnam, regional economic inducement, and local talent recruitment, benefiting the entire Gyeongnam region including Jinju," and added, "We will do our best to protect LH for the survival and future of Jinju City."
