Gochang-gun and Dutamol Join Hands to Boost Sales of Agricultural, Fishery, and Livestock Products

According to the county on the 3rd, the agreement ceremony was attended by County Governor Yu Gisang, Gochang County Council member Lee Kyungshin, Dutamall CEO Jo Yongman, and local farmers.

Through this agreement, the county will provide excellent agricultural, fishery, and livestock products to Dutamall and expand sales of local premium agricultural, fishery, and livestock products by utilizing Dutamall's distribution expertise.

Dutamall, besides its fashion and clothing business, has chosen the county as a partner to build online and offline distribution networks for entering the food distribution business, expecting to enhance the trust of discerning metropolitan customers through direct delivery of the safe and fresh healthy food brand "Gochang Agricultural Food."

In particular, both organizations agreed to respond swiftly to changes in the distribution market caused by COVID-19 and to make joint efforts through an organic cooperative relationship as a win-win development model between companies and local governments.

County Governor Yu Gisang said, "This business agreement will be a great help to farmers and fishermen who are struggling to secure sales channels for agricultural, fishery, and livestock products," adding, "We will take the lead in ensuring that farmers and fishermen receive fair prices for their products and that consumers can be supplied with excellent agricultural, fishery, and livestock products from Gochang by leveraging the strengths of both organizations."

Meanwhile, the integrated shopping mall of Gochang-gun, "Nop-eul Gochang Mall," started operations on April 5 with the goal of supplying excellent agricultural, fishery, and livestock products from Gochang to consumers with trust and responsibility.

It is standing out among local government shopping malls through aggressive marketing such as fresh agricultural product first shipment events, experience product halls, and vacation season package product development.
