YouTuber Aori's Cosmetic Brand 'Roar' Selects April's Lee Hyun-joo as Model


[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Total beauty brand 'Roar,' operated by influencer Kim Min-young (YouTuber name Aori), has appointed former April member Lee Hyun-joo as its exclusive model to target the MZ generation in its marketing efforts.


On the 2nd, CEO Kim stated, "Lee Hyun-joo has become the new muse of Roar, which carries the motto 'Precious family's precious daughter.' With her cute and sophisticated image, Lee Hyun-joo will begin by unveiling the advertising cuts shot with Roar's main products and will continue various activities as Roar's model in the future."


Roar is diversifying its business areas from fashion to cosmetics, focusing its marketing activities primarily on customers in their 20s and 30s.


To commemorate the signing of the exclusive model contract, Roar will launch new products such as sunscreen starting today, along with various discount events. The newly introduced sunscreen features a lightweight formula that absorbs immediately upon application. In addition to UV protection, it contains premium ingredients such as truffle extract, peptides, and hyaluronic acid. According to Roar, "With just one sunscreen, you can enjoy the dual benefits of skincare."


Additionally, summer discount events are prepared for existing popular products, including a cushion that does not transfer on the face, a lip balm with a sweet flavor, and an aegyo-sal kit.
