SSG.com has extended the same-day SSG Delivery order cutoff time by 6 hours for the PP Center delivery area of Emart Seongsu branch.
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] SSG.com announced on the 18th that it has extended the same-day SSG Delivery order cutoff time for the PP Center delivery zone at Emart Seongsu branch from 1 PM to 7 PM.
The PP Center is a separate online order processing space located inside Emart stores. SSG.com plans to apply the same policy to 20 stores in the metropolitan area and major provincial cities, including the Jayang and Wangsimni branch PP Centers, by October.
Currently, SSG.com processes about 140,000 orders daily, including approximately 80,000 orders from three 'Neo' online stores located in Yongin and Gimpo, and about 60,000 orders through over 110 PP Centers nationwide. In the second half of this year, SSG.com plans to expand the volume of more than 10 PP Centers through remodeling Emart stores and gradually extend the cutoff times, aiming to handle up to 150,000 orders per day by the end of the year.
An SSG.com official said, “As customer preferences for same-day delivery orders during evening hours have become clear, we have been considering extending the delivery time. Starting with the Seoul area PP Center zones, we will expand same-day delivery to major regions to further enhance customer satisfaction.”
