Hyundai Construction Consortium Builds Large-Scale Complex of 2,417 Households, 'Pyeongchon Trizia'

Hyundai Construction Consortium Builds Large-Scale Complex of 2,417 Households, 'Pyeongchon Trizia'

Recently, consortium brand apartments involving two or more construction companies in a single complex have succeeded in attracting strong interest from buyers.

Consortium apartments bring together multiple construction companies, creating a synergy effect by combining their brand power. Since these complexes are usually developed on a large scale, they offer abundant auxiliary facilities such as community amenities and commercial spaces, resulting in high resident satisfaction. In particular, recently, with the increased participation of large construction companies that have high brand trust and extensive construction experience, most complexes are introduced with specialized floor plans, landscaping, and IT technology, showcasing the unique technical know-how of these major builders.

With so many advantages, consortium brand apartments are showing strong performance in the subscription market. Last month, the consortium of Doosan Construction and Kolon Global supplied ‘Gimhae Yulha The Sky City Zenith & Frau’ in Sinmun-dong, Gimhae-si, Gyeongnam, which attracted 15,590 applicants for 709 units in the first priority subscription, recording an average competition rate of 22.0 to 1. ‘Yonghyeon Xi Crest,’ a large-scale private-public apartment complex launched by GS Construction, Kumho Construction, Taeyoung Construction, and Shinseong Construction in Block 1 of Yongmaru Station, Michuhol-gu, Incheon, also closed subscriptions with an average double-digit competition rate and a peak of 77.23 to 1.

A real estate expert said, “Consortium apartments, mainly seen in large complexes, tend to form a premium simply because several major construction companies come together,” adding, “Since the core technologies and know-how of each construction company are concentrated in floor plans, community spaces, landscaping, and relaxation areas, the product quality is excellent, leading to high satisfaction among residents.”

Meanwhile, ‘Pyeongchon Trizia,’ scheduled for sale in June in Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, is also highly anticipated as an excellent brand consortium large complex, led by Hyundai Construction along with SK Ecoplant (formerly SK Construction) and Kolon Global.

First, Hyundai Construction ranked second in the 2020 Construction Capability Evaluation. Its apartment brand ‘Hillstate’ has been recognized for its brand value, winning first place in the apartment brand category for two consecutive years (2019?2020) selected by real estate research firm Dr. Apartment, first place in the Best Apartment Brand by Real Estate 114 (2020), and first place in the apartment brand reputation index for 26 consecutive months (2019?2021) conducted monthly by the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute.

SK Construction recently changed its name to SK Ecoplant and is transforming into an eco-friendly company leading ESG (environment, social, governance) initiatives beyond traditional construction. It is recognized for its construction capability, ranking 10th, and has established a solid position in the domestic market with its ‘SK VIEW’ brand launched in 2000. Kolon Global, ranked 19th in the 2020 Construction Capability Evaluation, is also focusing its efforts on the housing business with its ‘Haneulchae’ brand and continues to perform well in urban redevelopment projects, surpassing a cumulative contract amount of 1.7 trillion KRW for two consecutive years.

Thus, ‘Pyeongchon Trizia,’ built by these leading construction companies, is expected to offer excellent product quality. It will feature various community facilities befitting a landmark large complex. A daycare center will be installed within the complex to ensure safe commuting for children, and well-equipped community facilities such as a residents’ fitness center, a small library, and a guest house will be created. Additionally, neighborhood living facilities will be included, allowing residents to enjoy a more convenient lifestyle.

As it is supplied by a consortium of major construction companies, residents can expect to enjoy brand premiums and a high-quality residential environment. Moreover, landscaping designs utilizing the spaces between buildings will be well developed, and residents will benefit from a pleasant living environment connected to the nearby Hogye Neighborhood Park.

This complex stands out not only for its excellent product quality but also for its outstanding location. Situated in the central area of Hogye-dong, known for its superior residential environment in Anyang-si, it offers easy access to Hogye Neighborhood Park, a 340,000㎡ urban green space, as well as educational facilities such as Hogye Elementary School and Hogye Middle School. Large-scale convenience facilities like Lotte Department Store Anyang Branch and NewCore Outlet are also nearby. Furthermore, residents can quickly travel anywhere in the Seoul metropolitan area via the Metropolitan Area 1st Circular Expressway, Geumjeong Station, and Myeonghak Station.

Meanwhile, ‘Pyeongchon Trizia,’ located throughout Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, is a large complex apartment consisting of three complexes with a total of 2,417 households (including 196 rental units). It comprises 22 buildings from 5 basement floors to 34 above-ground floors, with units ranging from 36 to 84㎡ in seven types (including rental units). Among them, 913 units sized 59 to 74㎡ will be available for general sale.

Meanwhile, the model house will be set up in Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do.
