[Breaking] President Moon Meets AstraZeneca CEO... Promises to Strengthen 'Vaccine Cooperation'

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Juhyung] President Moon Jae-in, who is visiting the UK to attend the G7 Summit, met with the global CEO of AstraZeneca on the morning of the 12th (local time).

President Moon expressed gratitude to AstraZeneca for their efforts in vaccine supply, noting the significance of the AstraZeneca vaccine being the first to be administered in Korea in February. He also evaluated that through cooperation between both sides, Korea was able to emerge as a global vaccine hub.

He then proposed continuing cooperation to ensure smooth vaccine administration in the second half of the year.
