[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Sumi] Foreign media reported on the 3rd (local time) that a herd of cattle appeared in a rural town in the United States and helped police catch a vehicle fleeing from a crackdown.

According to the report, the Barron County Sheriff's Office in Wisconsin State engaged in a chase of about 20 km after a vehicle with registration violations appeared around 1 a.m. on the 1st. The fleeing vehicle was eventually blocked by a herd of cattle and caught by the police.

The sheriff's office posted on Facebook that day with a photo showing a car stopped in front of the herd of cattle and a message thanking the cattle. The sheriff's office expressed gratitude, saying, "When the fleeing vehicle encountered the moving barricade of cattle, its engine stopped," and "We cannot help but thank Barron County's 'cattle squad' for jumping in and helping the police catch the fleeing vehicle."

They also reported that no people or livestock were injured during the capture of the fleeing vehicle, calling it "another happy ending." They added that the suspect was apprehended and detained.
