[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] On the 3rd, Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, announced its active participation in the Small Business With Campaign through a meeting held in the Deputy Governor's office between Deputy Governor Choi Young-ho and Ha Sun-young, head of the Zero Pay Activation Support Project Group of the Gyeongnam Small Business Federation.

The Small Business With Campaign is promoted by the Gyeongnam Small Business Federation to activate Zero Pay. As the usage rate of local love gift certificates increases, it is a campaign conducted together (with) local governments to improve awareness of Zero Pay payments and help increase sales for small business owners.

The county produced and distributed leaflets to promote Zero Pay activation and is visiting individual stores, where awareness of Zero Pay is lacking due to the aging of small business owners, to provide guidance on how to use it.

As of the end of April 2021, there are 1,640 Zero Pay affiliated stores registered in the county. When using Zero Pay, affiliated stores receive a 0% payment commission benefit, and consumers can receive a 30% income deduction.

Ha Sun-young, head of the support project group, stated, “I understand that active promotion of Zero Pay activation in Geochang-gun has helped increase sales for small business owners, and I hope for continued interest and cooperation in the future.”

Deputy Governor Choi added, “We plan to implement various policies such as Zero Pay event promotions to increase sales for small business owners and activate Zero Pay, and we will actively promote the use of corporate Zero Pay and mobile Geochang Love Gift Certificates.”
