Changwon City Sewerage Office Leads Efforts to Block Pollution Sources Entering Rivers

The Sewerage Office is carrying out maintenance of 48 faulty sewage connection units within residential areas near Bukseong Elementary School in Seokjeon-dong and the Guam-dong area, including repairing sewage connection pipes L=397M and damaged stormwater pipes L=14M, aiming to block pollutants flowing into the river.

Through this construction, the Sewerage Office plans to block pollutants flowing into Samho Stream and Sogye Stream and also block odors generated within the nearby residential areas.

In particular, by blocking domestic wastewater flowing into the river, it is expected to greatly contribute to improving the water quality environment of Masan Bay.
