[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Household goods company Lock&Lock announced on the 12th that it will launch a ‘Refill Starter Set’ in collaboration with skincare brand Paparecipe to encourage the reuse of cosmetic containers.
According to Lock&Lock, this collaboration was planned with the purpose of promoting the broad use of food storage containers and naturally spreading the culture of cosmetic refills.
First, the collaboration product consists of Lock&Lock’s antibacterial Bisfree container and two best-selling Paparecipe peeling pads (refill versions). The Bisfree container is designed for Paparecipe, featuring a 370ml capacity with a yellow lid symbolizing the brand, giving it a charming feel. With an antibacterial silicone packing and excellent sealing power, it is perfect for storing cosmetics. Lock&Lock explained that it can also be sterilized by boiling water, allowing hygienic management.
Additionally, the pads include two of Paparecipe’s bestsellers: the ‘Eggplant Clearing Peeling Pad’ and the ‘Carrot Solution Peeling Pad.’ Reflecting the eco-friendly concept, refill products (35 sheets) are provided two per pad. Paparecipe pads use natural ingredient extracts and are made with vegan-certified pure cotton sheets, making them popular among consumers who care about the environment and their skin. The ‘Refill Starter Set’ can be purchased on Paparecipe’s official online store.
Kwon Pilhee, Team Leader of Lock&Lock’s Product Strategy Team, said, “This collaboration was carried out with the intention of encouraging the use of reusable containers in everyday life and achieving a shift in awareness about resource circulation,” adding, “We aim to provide freshness to consumers through this unique collaboration between food storage containers and cosmetics.”
