[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] On the 11th, Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk, held a collective bargaining agreement ceremony with the Imsil-gun Public Officials Labor Union.
Both labor and management sides reached a final agreement on this collective agreement after three rounds of practical negotiations and continuous consultations, starting with a meeting on February 18.
At the ceremony held in the county governor's office, County Governor Sim Min, Public Officials Union Branch Chief Song Deokryong, Secretary Han Seokho, and other labor-management officials attended and signed the agreement.
The main agreements of this collective agreement include applying public official regulations for sick leave and travel expenses, thereby further enhancing the welfare of public officials.
Branch Chief Song Deokryong said, “With this collective agreement, we expect the working conditions of public officials who work hard for Imsil-gun amid the difficult situation caused by COVID-19 to improve. Even after the agreement is signed, we will make our best efforts to thoroughly implement the agreed matters by inspecting and managing the implementation.”
County Governor Sim Min said, “Despite the difficult social conditions due to COVID-19, we successfully concluded the collective bargaining because we recognize the hard work of public officials who work with a sincere attitude toward county administration. I believe that if labor and management try to understand each other with empathy, it will be the foundation for creating a happy and livable Imsil-gun.”
