Interpark Opens 'Ticket MD Shop' for Purchasing Goods Related to Performances, Exhibitions, and Music


[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] Interpark announced on the 3rd that it has opened an exclusive goods shop called 'Ticket MD Shop' to help customers cherish the emotions and lingering feelings experienced at live events such as performances, exhibitions, music, and sports games.


The product lineup includes Sports MD, Performance MD, Exhibition MD, and Star MD. Over 700 types of goods across various fields are available for sale, and the product range is expected to expand further.


In the Sports MD corner, which sells goods from professional baseball teams such as Kiwoom, Doosan, and LG, a variety of items are available to collect, including cheering supplies to enjoy games more dynamically and express emotions on-site, apparel related to favorite players, baseball equipment, and fashion accessories.


In the Performance MD corner, goods that customers regretted not purchasing after watching performances can be bought online again. Program books and OSTs from last season's musicals like 'Sweeney Todd' and 'Pirates' are especially popular. Currently, 15 performances, mainly those that have ended, are featured, and the lineup of performances and products will continue to expand.


To commemorate the grand opening of the 'Ticket MD Shop,' Interpark is holding a draw from April 16 to May 16. Customers who purchase MD shop products and leave reviews will be entered to win various prizes for 50 people, regardless of the purchase genre. Prizes include invitation tickets to the musical 'Dracula,' the play 'Shear Madness,' the 'Kim Jung Gi The Other Side' exhibition, various performance MD products such as 'Mamma Mia' and 'Ben Hur,' and starting today, the Undongddung home training equipment.


Kim Taesung, Deputy General Manager of Interpark's Sports Business Team, said, “Goods for various viewing genres such as performances, exhibitions, and sports have so far been sold mainly on-site, limiting online distribution. However, in an era where contactless has become the norm, we planned this service to provide convenience to audiences.” He added, “In the long term, we plan to create synergy through package products combining tickets and MD goods, revamp product pages, expand product sourcing, and improve the ticket MD platform by considering viewers' convenience, such as online purchase with on-site pickup.”
