Additionally, one case each was confirmed from Songpa-gu case number 1894 and an unknown infection route.

The confirmed cases related to the Damyang social gathering, classified as Gwangju cases 2296 and 2297, were investigated to be residents of Gwangsan-gu.

They had visited a Chinese restaurant located in Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju, which was previously visited by Jeonnam case number 989, who had been confirmed positive earlier.

The quarantine authorities estimate that they were infected by visiting the same restaurant as Jeonnam case number 989.

As the n-th generation infections related to the Damyang social gathering spread, 6 related confirmed cases also occurred the previous day.

Starting with Jeonnam case number 989, known as the secretary to National Assembly member Lee Gae-ho, the related n-th generation infections are accelerating.
