Living as ‘Song Sawon’ Mini-Intern for 2 Weeks at Munjeong Biz Valley, Songpa-gu?

Youth Job Seekers Competency Enhancement Practical Project Held...Opportunity for Employer Talent Verification and Job Seeker Interviews and Hiring Connections

Living as ‘Song Sawon’ Mini-Intern for 2 Weeks at Munjeong Biz Valley, Songpa-gu?

[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Songpa-gu (Mayor Park Seong-su) is promoting the program "Living as 'Songsawon' for 2 weeks of practical job experience! Mini Intern" until June to strengthen the employment capabilities of young job seekers.

The economic downturn caused by COVID-19, the preference of small and medium-sized enterprises for experienced talent, and the difficulty for job seekers to gain practical experience have combined to exacerbate each other's difficulties.

In response, Songpa-gu has prepared a talent matching solution connecting companies and job seekers to help resolve youth employment difficulties.

Through this program, job seekers who receive current corporate tasks will solve the tasks over two weeks, and if they show excellent performance, they can even get opportunities for interviews and hiring connections.

Job seekers perform tasks online, acquire information about companies, and develop practical skills, while participating companies expect to hire verified talent.

The program proceeds in the order of ▲recruitment and selection of participating job seekers, pre-education for mini interns ▲two weeks of task execution and submission ▲selection of graduates and announcement of interviewees ▲post-management such as hiring connections and job referrals to other companies for those who are not hired.

The participating companies are Raviber and The Jin located in Munjeong Biz Valley, and Hanmi Healthcare located in Bangi-dong. Each company selects about 15 people in the fields of SNS content planning, design, and marketing to provide practical experience opportunities.

A series of programs will be conducted from April to June for each company, and currently, job seekers hoping to work in the SNS content planning field with Raviber are being recruited.

Applications can be made at the Munjeong Biz Valley Job Hub Center or the Mini Intern website, and detailed inquiries can be made by phone or email (help@miniintern.com).

Mayor Park Seong-su said, “I hope this project provides suitable opportunities for both recruiting companies and job seekers,” and emphasized, “We will continuously discover job programs where companies and youth coexist, based at the Munjeong Biz Valley Job Hub Center.”

Meanwhile, the Songpa-gu Munjeong Biz Valley Job Hub Center regularly provides information about resident companies on the center’s website through ‘company interviews,’ receiving positive responses from recruiting companies. It also operates the step-by-step job service JOB-trinity program, including Enneagram personality and vocational psychology tests, resume and self-introduction letter clinics, mock interviews, and AI VR interview experiences.

The center operates from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays, and consultations are available by visit or phone.
