[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] The Korea Road Traffic Authority is facing controversy for using a photo of a child dressed in Chinese police uniform in its comprehensive newsletter.
On the 16th, news spread online that a photo of a child wearing a Chinese police uniform giving a salute was published in the comprehensive newsletter issued by the Authority. It is known that this photo appeared on the very last page of the March-April issue of "Traffic Light," a bimonthly publication by the Authority.
In response, the Authority expressed deep regret for the mistake, disposed of all remaining copies of the booklet, and deleted the relevant page from the online version of "Traffic Light."
