[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Walkerhill Hotel & Resort announced on the 14th that it will newly introduce an outdoor picnic space called 'Forest Park.' Three room packages including Forest Park access will also be launched.

Walkerhill stated, "Forest Park, renewed from the existing 'Camping in the City' area, was created to meet the needs of customers who want to enjoy a light outing while feeling nature within the city."

The three packages commonly offer a welcome gift including snacks and alcoholic beverages or drinks, as well as breakfast at The Buffet, with variations depending on the type of room and Forest Park usage.

The Forest Park Package includes admission to Forest Park and accommodation in the Grand Walkerhill Deluxe Room (starting from 240,000 KRW). The Forest Yard Package offers a Vista Deluxe Room (starting from 320,000 KRW). The Forest Village Package, which allows guests to enjoy a camping atmosphere inside tents at Forest Park, includes accommodation in a Deluxe Suite Room and rental of various types of tents around the lawn plaza. It also includes the 'Popak Set,' which offers a choice among chicken, club sandwich, and wine platter set (starting from 393,000 KRW).

The tents in Forest Park, available only for package users, consist of three Bohemian-style 'Indian Tents' for emotional camping and five 'Opera Tents' that create an outdoor atmosphere. There is also a 'Movie & Music Tent' equipped with a beam projector and Bluetooth speaker.

Besides the camping zone, Forest Park is composed of a 'Multi Zone' and 'Toy Zone' where guests can use game facilities and toys, and a 'Class Zone' where Walkerhill’s activity experts conduct the Walkie program. New Walkie programs include a drone program taught by experts, a stretching class called Balance for Family, and soap bubble play.

Forest Park operates from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and according to social distancing guidelines, the maximum number of simultaneous visitors inside Forest Park is limited to 150. Guests can consume To-go products purchased from all Walkerhill restaurants within Forest Park.

Meanwhile, Walkerhill will run a Forest Park admission promotion for all hotel guests throughout April. During this period, not only guests using Forest Park room packages but all room guests can enjoy a relaxing picnic experience at Forest Park.
