100,000 Won Per Person for All Citizens
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Paju City in Gyeonggi Province will start distributing the 2nd Emergency Living Stabilization Fund from the 3rd of next month.
According to the city on the 12th, approximately 470,000 people are eligible, including Korean nationals, marriage immigrants, and foreigners with permanent residency registered in Paju City as of 0:00 on March 28 this year.
Regardless of income or age, 100,000 KRW per person will be provided in local currency or credit card points.
For minors, if one parent is the head of the household, the parent can apply on their behalf. In particular, from May 3 to 7, a 5-day rotation system based on the last digit of the birth year will be implemented.
Foreigners can apply offline only from June 7 to 30. Payments will be made only in local currency, and applications can be submitted on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
From May 31 to June 12, applications can also be made on Saturdays. Operating hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The 2nd Emergency Living Stabilization Fund of Paju City can be used at traditional markets within Paju City and at Paju Pay affiliated stores.
The fund must be used within three months from the date of receiving the approval message, and any unused balance after the deadline will be automatically returned to the city.
