The person who threw the egg at Leader Lee was a woman in her 50s belonging to the 'Jungdo Relics Protection Headquarters,' opposing the Chuncheon Legoland development project. It was confirmed that she held a one-person protest against Legoland at the Myeongdong entrance that day.

After attending a meeting with young food industry entrepreneurs in Chuncheon, the woman threw eggs three times at Leader Lee as he was moving to Jungang Market, asking, "Why did you approve Legoland?" Oh Young-hoon, the chief secretary, and others protected Leader Lee.

Leader Lee, who was hit on the right side of his face, wiped off the egg from his face and clothes, changed his mask to a new one, and continued his market visit schedule as planned.

The police responded to a citizen report but arrived after Leader Lee had already left. Since a supporter of Leader Lee who was hit by the egg received an apology from the woman and expressed no desire for punishment, the woman was not booked.
