[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jihwan] Deloitte Korea Group announced on the 2nd that it has launched a specialized center providing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management-related services to companies aiming to establish ESG-based management strategies and innovate their business portfolios.
The ESG Center plans to offer forecasts of risk factors and proactive response strategies across various industries and companies. It is composed of over 20 experts in diverse fields such as management strategy, risk, finance, audit, and tax, including Partner Kim Hakbeom, who has built 17 years of expertise in crisis management.
The ESG Center will support clients in areas including ESG disclosure and investor communication, such as publishing sustainability management reports, establishing ESG strategies and management systems, developing sustainable business strategies like eco-friendly initiatives and coal phase-out, and business innovation through ESG strategy execution. Additionally, it will provide solutions tailored to each company's status and needs across the entire ESG spectrum, including sustainable finance and investment such as ESG bond issuance, ESG-based investment portfolio strategy development, ESG due diligence on investment target companies, ESG-related certification and verification, policy advisory, and measurement and evaluation of social impact.
