According to Tongyeong Coast Guard on the 28th, at around 7:43 PM the previous night at Samcheonpo Port in Sacheon City, Mr. A (38), who was drinking with a friend, threw himself into the sea in a fit of anger due to a marital quarrel and other reasons.
Friend Mr. B, who was at the scene, immediately reported to 119 and jumped into the water to rescue Mr. A. However, both were stranded due to exhaustion.
Upon receiving the report, the coast guard urgently dispatched coastal rescue boats and rescue teams to the scene and rescued Mr. A. Mr. A, who had lost consciousness, regained consciousness through CPR performed by a police officer. Friend Mr. B was also rescued first by the 119 emergency medical team.
They were transferred to a nearby hospital and are reported to be regaining stability.
