‘Conscious’ fashion brand Marhen.J, which aims for mindful production and consumption, officially launched apple leather bags in Korea on the 22nd.
The newly released Marhen.J product, the ‘HEY BAG,’ is an apple leather bag made by upcycling apple peels. The apple leather fabric used in this product is directly produced in Italy, showcasing not only top-quality craftsmanship but also a rich and deep color tone.
Apple leather is made by weaving pure pulp extracted from the fibers of apple peels, a process that requires a high level of expertise. The advanced technology of the Italian fabric factory combined with Marhen.J’s excellent vegan design sensibility in Korea has made it possible to present the apple leather bag.
What makes Marhen.J’s new product special is that even the dye used eco-friendly ink. It meets the standards of four European specialized certification bodies, proving it as a truly ‘genuine vegan’ brand.
The HEY BAG features a contemporary square shape with an edgy and simple design, available in four captivating colors. To further prove its vegan leather status, charms shaped like an apple, cactus, and tulip are also released, allowing for free styling options.
Following the HEY BAG, the ‘Bella Bag’ made from apple leather is also scheduled for release. The Bella Bag, with its unique shape and elegant charm, has been receiving numerous inquiries even before its launch.
