[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] T'way Air announced on the 2nd that it will operate international non-landing sightseeing flights this month.
After operating international non-landing sightseeing flights three times last month, T'way Air will operate two additional flights on the 13th and 28th of this month.
These sightseeing flights will depart from Incheon International Airport at 4:15 PM on the 13th and around 2 PM on the 28th, circle over Fukuoka airspace, and then return to Incheon International Airport. The flight time is approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes.
In particular, these flights are international routes where duty-free shopping is available. T'way Air is offering up to a 60% discount event for pre-orders at the in-flight duty-free shop. Through partnerships with major duty-free shops, a variety of extensive discounts are provided, including up to 60% off at Lotte Duty Free and discounts up to 420,000 KRW at Hyundai Department Store Duty Free for T'way Air members.
Tickets can be purchased on the T'way Air website and mobile web (app). These flights are sold starting from a total price of 108,000 KRW. When booking, select 'one-way' and set both the departure and arrival locations to 'Incheon'.
A T'way Air official stated, "The non-landing sightseeing flights conducted last month recorded high occupancy rates thanks to the excitement of travel and duty-free benefits," adding, "We will continue to operate flights that provide the excitement of travel to many passengers while complying with quarantine guidelines."
