[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Thinkware announced on the 21st that it has signed a business agreement with the delivery agency Spidercraft to expand mobility services.

Thinkware's map platform development subsidiary, iNavi Systems, developed the industry's first delivery-customized map based on its own map big data and solutions in collaboration with autonomous driving specialist 42dot.

The last-mile map is a platform that maximizes delivery workers' efficiency and convenience by removing location information unrelated to delivery from existing maps and emphasizing delivery-specialized information.

Spidercraft, established in February 2019, commercialized the delivery agency platform 'Hero Delivery Spider' in August of the same year, providing two-wheeled vehicle-based delivery services. Currently, it operates delivery services for food, small logistics, catering, and ready meals.

Kang Jungkyu, Head of Management Division at Thinkware, said, "As the COVID-19 pandemic prolongs and time spent at home increases, delivery demand has surged, leading to growth in the related market. Therefore, we have signed a strategic business agreement to expand our mobility business." He added, "We plan to rapidly expand related businesses by combining the technological capabilities and business potential of both companies to create an optimized platform tailored to business operators' needs."
