Director Moon Yong-jin of Bubu Nursing Hospital Donates 10 Million Won to Scholarship Fund

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Ki-dong] On the 19th, Mokpo City in Jeollanam-do announced that Moon Yong-jin, director of Bubu Nursing Hospital, donated 10 million won to the Mokpo Scholarship Foundation on the 18th.

Director Moon made the donation with the intention of giving back a portion of the profits from Bubu Nursing Hospital, which opened in January last year, to the local community. He had also donated 10 million won in scholarships in 2016.

Director Moon Yong-jin said, “When I was a student in 2004, I received a local talent development scholarship from Mokpo City, which allowed me to focus more on my studies. I want to give back to my hometown Mokpo without forgetting the gratitude I felt at that time and contribute to nurturing local talents.”

Kim Jong-sik, mayor of Mokpo and chairman of the Mokpo Scholarship Foundation, said, “We thank Director Moon for voluntarily donating a portion of his precious profits as scholarships despite the difficult times due to COVID-19,” and added, “We will do our best to discover and nurture local talents like Director Moon.”
