[Asia Economy Reporter Hana Na] Seo Dong-joo, daughter of broadcaster Seo Jeong-hee, revealed her first salary while working at a U.S. law firm and shared updates on her financial investments on the January 9th broadcast of SBS Plus's 'Jjeondangpo.'

Seo Dong-joo appeared as a guest on 'Jjeondangpo' alongside her mother, Seo Jeong-hee.

Having worked as a lawyer at one of the top five U.S. law firms, Seo Dong-joo disclosed that her starting salary was "200,000 dollars." This amount, approximately 217.5 million won, surprised the other guests. She added, "The work was extremely demanding. Large law firms don't consider work-life balance and working a lot is the norm," but quickly expressed confidence by saying, "The winning rate is maintained until we win."

Seo Dong-joo also shared her current financial investment status, stating, "I have bought a house under my name and am investing in stocks with my surplus funds."

She continued, "I am self-taught and invest in stocks within reasonable limits. I once invested in TQQQ, which triples when it goes up and falls threefold when it drops, so it was a high-risk investment. Now, I am diversifying across 20 different stocks." She added, "I plan to hold for about 3 to 5 years."

The Jjeon Master praised her, saying, "That's a good attitude. If you maintain your sense, your stock investments should do well."

During the broadcast, Seo Jeong-hee said, "I want to move out of the 19-pyeong house I currently live in and go somewhere with a garden and nature." Her daughter Seo Dong-joo revealed future plans, saying, "I want to live together with my mother, maternal grandmother, and younger sibling." She added, "My maternal grandmother is living alone. The three generations of women are living separately. I thought we could live better if we were together."
