A flood of related products has been launched to make various home party dishes easy to prepare, and various ‘To-Go’ menu services have emerged, allowing customers to conveniently pick up chef-prepared meals.
According to the related industry on the 17th, Shinsegae Food has launched three types of ‘Olban Norwegian Fresh Salmon Ready Meals (HMR)’ targeting year-end home party enthusiasts.
December is considered the peak season for salmon as consumers increasingly enjoy salmon at Christmas parties and year-end gatherings. Accordingly, Shinsegae Food released three types of ‘Olban Norwegian Fresh Salmon Ready Meals’ that can be easily used at home for various home party dishes such as salads, steaks, sushi, and sandwiches.
The new products are made from fresh Norwegian fresh salmon, prepared into fillets, steak cuts, and sashimi according to home cooking methods, and individually packaged in single servings. Additionally, three types of sauces?mayonnaise for salmon, soy sauce, and wasabi?are included separately, allowing consumers to enjoy the salmon with their preferred sauce.
A Shinsegae Food official said, “This new product allows customers to easily enjoy fresh Norwegian fresh salmon at home through online orders only,” adding, “As social distancing continues, the number of consumers enjoying year-end home parties at home is expected to increase, so we anticipate a strong response from customers.”
Hollys Coffee has launched two types of mini round cakes that can be enjoyed at home parties or Christmas parties. These products are designed under the concept of ‘small but perfect cakes,’ ideal for modest celebrations. With the increase in single-person households and small gatherings, the cakes were planned in smaller sizes accordingly. They incorporate all elements such as visual appeal and taste but are priced at the level of regular slice cakes.
The ‘Holiday Red Velvet Round’ is a cake layered with red red velvet and green matcha sheets, evoking a strong Christmas atmosphere. The ‘Strawberry Fresh Cream Round’ sandwiches sweet strawberry cream between moist cake layers, allowing you to enjoy the sweet and soft flavors of strawberry and cream simultaneously.

The hotel industry is introducing various To-Go menus that allow customers to conveniently pick up chef-prepared meals. Conrad Seoul operates various To-Go services at its Italian restaurant for intimate home parties. Atrio is an Italian restaurant with a trattoria concept where you can enjoy Italian home cooking in a casual atmosphere. Inspired by Italian family recipes, Atrio offers carefully prepared Italian home dishes. All types of Atrio’s pizzas, including mozzarella pizza topped with fresh ingredients like ricotta cheese and basil, and formaggi pizza rich in cheese flavor, are available for takeout.
Walkerhill Hotel & Resort’s premium gourmet store ‘Le Passage’ offers various gourmet products suitable for home party menus, including takeout pizzas from ‘Pizza Hill,’ as well as salmon, sausages, cakes, and bakery items. The Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas in Samseong-dong is taking reservations for holiday To-Go products at the Grand Deli on the first floor until December 31. This year, the selection has expanded to three types: turkey, barbecue pork ribs, and Virginia ham. Additionally, a new home party pack product has been launched, which includes two bottles of wine, cake, salad, chocolate, and chandelier candles along with the holiday To-Go products.
Seoul Dragon City has launched the ‘Food Exchange To-Go Box,’ which allows customers to select and pack popular menu items from the premium buffet restaurant ‘Food Exchange’ according to their taste and enjoy them at home.
Glad Yeouido offers the ‘Gritz To-Go Box’ menu through delivery service platforms ‘Coupang Eats’ and ‘Baedal Minjok,’ allowing customers to enjoy hotel chef-prepared meals at home.
