Seoul City Partners with Small Business Hope Foundation to Support Online Sales Channels for Small Business Owners
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Interpark has stepped up to help small business owners who are going through difficult times due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic. Interpark announced on the 25th that it will carry out a support project for small business owners struggling to secure online sales channels, in collaboration with the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Small Business Hope Foundation.
Interpark plans to offer various benefits to help small business owners who are not familiar with online sales increase their revenue through Interpark and enter the online market stably. First, from October this year to January next year, Interpark will operate a permanent online store dedicated to small business owners on its site and reduce sales commissions. Additionally, to promote the sales of small business products, Interpark will actively support promotional and marketing activities such as various promotions, online banner exposure, and search advertisements.
Small business owners who wish to participate can apply through the Hope Foundation’s website. An Interpark official said, "This support project was launched to provide more practical help to small business owners who have competitive products but face difficulties in promotion and market development," adding, "We plan to continue preparing various support measures to grow together with small business owners as a leading domestic e-commerce company."
