Saemaeul Geumgo "Use Check Card and Get Cashback Benefits"

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] MG Saemaeul Geumgo announced on the 23rd that it will hold the 'Wise Consumption Life with MG Check Card; Cashback Event' for about two months until October 31.

Saemaeul Geumgo will provide a cashback of up to 10,000 KRW to a total of 4,000 members selected by lottery among those who use MG Check Card (excluding corporate members) to make cumulative payments of 300,000 KRW or more in the food and beverage sector and 100,000 KRW or more in the online sector during the event period. When the cashback is deposited, Saemaeul Geumgo plans to deliver a hopeful message saying “MG Gadeuk+Himnaeseyo.”

The food and beverage sector, which is the target merchant category for the event, includes Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Western food, bakeries, butcher shops, and other sectors with many self-employed businesses, excluding pubs and liquor stores. The online sector includes merchants in internet shopping malls, mail-order sales, and home shopping, excluding online gift certificate purchases and online payments such as national taxes and public utility charges.

An official from the Saemaeul Geumgo Central Association said, “Through this event targeting sectors severely affected by the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), we want to share a message of hope and, at the same time, prepare discount benefits for the online sector that customers frequently use in response to the increasing trend of untact shopping due to COVID-19.”
