Agreement Signed for Quality Assurance Gas Station at Chungju (Yangpyeong Direction) on Jungbu Naeryuk Expressway

The Chungju (Yangpyeong direction) gas station on the Jungbu Naeryuk Expressway, operated by Korea Expressway Corporation, has signed a quality assurance program agreement with the Korea Petroleum Quality and Distribution Authority, transforming itself into a gas station that truly provides "genuine" fuel.

Amid rising consumer complaints due to cases of counterfeit fuel being sold at some gas stations recently, the Chungju (Yangpyeong direction) gas station conducts genuine fuel inspections more than 12 times a year to strengthen petroleum quality management.

Station Manager Jeong Cheol-gyu stated, "We will do our best to become a gas station trusted by consumers through genuine and accurate sales."
