[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] Grand Korea Leisure (GKL) announced on the 16th that it has signed a business agreement with the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT) to globalize traditional foods and revitalize domestic tourism.
This business agreement is part of measures to revitalize domestic tourism, which has been stagnant due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19). It was prepared to promote our excellent traditional foods and domestic tourism resources to foreign tourists visiting the Korea Traditional Food Culture Center 'Ieum' in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul, and GKL's foreigner-only casino 'Seven Luck,' and to foster mutual cooperation and exchange for realizing social value.
GKL plans to support the promotion of traditional foods through ▲supporting the production of Ieum promotional maps ▲jointly placing Ieum promotional maps at Seven Luck promotional corners installed in hotels and duty-free shops.
Oh Yong-sik, GKL Marketing Director, said, "We hope this agreement will be an opportunity to revitalize the stagnant domestic tourism and create a 'win-win' situation for both parties," adding, "We will continue to strive to realize social value through win-win cooperation with the tourism industry."
