That day, 'Running Man' was held as the 'Phantom Thief Special Part 2.' When guest domestic profiler No. 1 Pyo Chang-won and detective Yoon Seok-ho, the real-life model of Ma Dong-seok's 'The Outlaws,' appeared, the members exclaimed, "The real deal has appeared."
Like Part 1, the phantom thieves first chose their professions. Jeon So-min was assigned as a hacker, Lee Kwang-soo as an interior designer, Yang Se-chan as an audio director, Ji Suk-jin as a headhunter, Yoon Seok-ho as a detective, Haha as a photographer, Kim Jong-kook as a security guard, Yoo Jae-suk as a prosecutor, Song Ji-hyo as a judge, and Pyo Chang-won as a profiler.
In Phantom Thief Part 2, the members had to capture two phantom thieves who were uninvited guests at the joint birthday party of Jae-suk, Haha, and Ji-hyo. The phantom thieves would win if they stole more than 100 jewels.
Pyo Chang-won and Yoon Seok-ho were actually monitoring all the members entering. Both pointed out, "Jeon So-min arrived too early," and said she was the most suspicious as a phantom thief.
During the first room search time, members paired up two by two and entered rooms A and B. After the search, Pyo Chang-won analyzed, "Song Ji-hyo and Jeon So-min played rock-paper-scissors, and Jeon So-min won and entered room B. Lee Kwang-soo and Ji Suk-jin fought over who would enter room A. It seems room A is quite important."
Also, Yoon Seok-ho said, "Usually, burglars scout residential areas a few days before a holiday break-in. They check if there are CCTVs, what the surroundings are like, whether the lights in the house are on or off, and then start their operation."
At this moment, when Lee Kwang-soo said a few words, audio director Yang Se-chan, who had the authority to silence members, said, "I will shut this guy up," and put a mask over Lee Kwang-soo’s mouth, causing laughter.

The first and second individuals were among the staff. Yoo Jae-suk-Yang Se-chan and Pyo Chang-won-Kim Jong-kook teams answered correctly. The third individual had a face shape like a slightly rotten zucchini, hair that barely touched the shoulders, somewhat large eyes, a relatively high nose, and light makeup. Detective Yoon immediately pointed to Lee Kwang-soo, which was correct.
Photos of the 5th and 4th place teams, Ji Suk-jin-Lee Kwang-soo and Jeon So-min-Song Ji-hyo, were revealed. The production team announced that the phantom thieves had stolen zero jewels during the first search. Seeing the photos, Pyo Chang-won said, "The strange thing is only Kwang-soo. All the bags are lying down except in Kwang-soo’s photo, where they are all standing." Upon hearing this, Detective Yoon said, "I stood them up to feel the weight of the bags," raising suspicion.
Detective Yoon, who had the authority to interrogate one person, chose Yang Se-chan. He explained, "What I don’t understand is that he assigned roles to the participants today. If he were a phantom thief, that would be his confidence. The confidence of a criminal."
Now it was Prosecutor Yoo Jae-suk’s turn. Yoo Jae-suk could put suspected phantom thieves on the witness stand. He chose Haha and Jeon So-min. The production team could only inform whether there was a phantom thief among the members on the stand, and they said, "There is a phantom thief among them."
The second search continued, and the production team announced that the phantom thieves had stolen 100 jewels. At this time, Detective Yoon said he suspected Pyo Chang-won. Members voted to put the most suspicious person on the witness stand, and Jeon So-min, who received the most votes, was brought back. The production team confirmed, "She is a phantom thief."
In the final third search, the production team announced that the phantom thieves had stolen a total of 352 jewels. During the photo reveal, Kim Jong-kook said, "Look at So-min and see how she moved the jewels." The members began analyzing So-min’s photos.
Several people were nominated as the other phantom thief candidate, but after persistent deduction by Yoo Jae-suk and Kim Jong-kook, Haha was brought to the witness stand. The production team confirmed Haha was indeed a phantom thief. Ultimately, the citizens succeeded in capturing both phantom thieves and won.
