[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] The heavy rain has temporarily stopped, but due to the rising water level of the Han River, road closures continue in various parts of Seoul.

According to the Seoul Traffic Information Center, as of 6 a.m. on the 12th, entry to Yeoui Upper and Yeoui Lower ICs on Olympic-daero is completely restricted. Entry to the Sincheon Interchange in the direction of Gimpo on Olympic-daero is also restricted.

Both directions of the underpass road at the southern end of Banghwa Bridge near Gaehwa Lock have been under restriction since the 3rd.

Jamsu Bridge has been closed in both directions for 10 consecutive days. The water level at Jamsu Bridge currently stands at 8.09 meters, far exceeding the pedestrian restriction level (above 5.5 meters) and vehicle restriction level (above 6.2 meters).

Additionally, vehicle traffic is prohibited on sections including Yangpyeong-ro 30-gil from beside the southern end of Seongsan Bridge to Yangpyeong Interchange, the underpass of Shindonga Shopping Center under Dongjak Bridge, Dangsan-ro 52-gil (from the southern end of Dangsan Railway Bridge to Dangsan Underpass), and both directions of Jangan Bridge.

Han River Bridge is currently operating normally in both directions. The water level at Han River Bridge is currently 5.48 meters, which is higher than the 'interest' level of 3.90 meters but lower than the flood advisory level of 8.50 meters.
