Building a Digital Work Environment with Smart Office
Accessible Anytime, Anywhere During Business Trips Including On-Site Surveys
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] The Small and Medium Business Corporation announced on the 9th that it will introduce the mobile electronic approval system 'Smart Office' starting from the 10th, in line with the paradigm shift towards non-face-to-face operations.
With the introduction of Smart Office, administrative tasks can be handled even when working in the office is difficult due to external business trips, improving work efficiency and enabling prompt support for businesses. Employees can use the electronic approval system anytime and anywhere with smart devices. Real-time document approval processing, access to work materials, and information sharing are also possible.
Due to the nature of its work and geographic characteristics following regional relocation, there was high demand for a mobile electronic approval system at the Small and Medium Business Corporation. Accordingly, from the first half of this year, employee feedback was collected regarding system functions and brand name, and the system has been completed.
Regional branch employees are expected to find Smart Office useful during on-site surveys for small business funding support, while headquarters staff can use it effectively during business trips to Seoul, Daejeon, and other locations for consultations with government ministries or related organizations.
In particular, the Small and Medium Business Corporation has established a thorough security system that meets the National Intelligence Service's security standards to prevent leakage of important business information, including ▲ OTP-based two-factor authentication system ▲ prevention of screen capture and tampering ▲ secure keypad ▲ data encryption.
Park Taein, head of the Information Management Office at the Small and Medium Business Corporation, said, “Decision-making and work processing can be done without restrictions on time and place, and we expect to provide faster business support services to our customers.”
