SK Networks 'TirePick', Battery Replacement Service Launched Based on Vehicle Number

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] SK Networks' online tire shopping mall 'TirePick' has launched a service that allows customers to check the battery suitable for their car using the vehicle number and offers on-site replacement within one hour.

TirePick announced on the 7th that it is the first to provide a vehicle number-based battery lookup feature so customers can easily and conveniently check their vehicle's battery information. It also launched the 'Lightning Dispatch' service, which guarantees 24/7 reception and battery replacement within one hour. The company explained that this service will resolve the inconvenience faced by customers who hesitated to purchase batteries online due to lack of battery information.

Additionally, TirePick offers the ‘Lightning Now’ service, which guarantees battery installation within one hour after reception, and the ‘Lightning Reservation’ service, which allows customers to choose their preferred time for installation, providing optimal replacement services tailored to customer needs.

The batteries sold on TirePick are Delco batteries from Clarios, the world’s number one market share company. A TirePick representative said, “Following the launch of the first vehicle number-based tire lookup service in Korea earlier this year, which brought a wave of change to the tire distribution industry, we will continue to innovate customer-centric services in the battery distribution sector through the vehicle number-based battery lookup and Lightning Dispatch services.”

To commemorate this launch, TirePick plans to offer a 25% discount sale until the end of this month.
