[Click eStock] Anipang4 Pre-registrations Reach 1 Million... "SundayToz Forecasts 38 Billion KRW Net Profit Next Year"

[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] SundayToz's new release, Anipang 4, has attracted 1 million pre-registrations. Even with conservative estimates, next year's net profit is expected to reach 38 billion KRW.

On the 16th, Yuha Securities gave SundayToz a 'Buy' rating with a target price of 42,000 KRW. Considering the previous day's closing price of 26,550 KRW, this implies a potential upside of 58.2%.

The core of this assessment is the upcoming release of the new title 'Anipang 4' on the 30th. Pre-registrations began on the 9th and surpassed 1 million within just 8 days. This pace exceeds that of its predecessor, Anipang 3, which took 12 days to reach 1 million. With a full-scale advertising campaign featuring singer IU starting on the 15th, the number of pre-registrations is expected to set a new record.

Particularly notable is the introduction of the 'Battle Royale' mode, where 30 users compete in real-time until only one remains, called 'Anipang Royal.' This mode is gaining attention for its popularity. To create tension, the time limit is set to 60 seconds, and an independent server has been established to ensure a smooth gaming experience.

Other new titles beyond Anipang are also in the pipeline. Since the 5th, Sunday Town has been conducting a closed beta test (CBT) targeting a prior release in Japan. Given the high ranking of puzzle games and the market size being three times that of Korea, there is significant growth potential. Additionally, titles such as 'Shanghai Anipang Remake' are also awaiting release.

Based on Anipang 4 and other new titles, SundayToz is projected to secure a net profit of 38 billion KRW and net cash of 125 billion KRW next year. Researcher Hyungmo Yang of Yuha Securities stated, "Anipang 3, which was released four years ago, still ranks around 60th in domestic sales, generating about 40 million KRW in daily revenue. Even with conservative estimates, Anipang 4's daily revenue is expected to reach 50 million KRW, and assuming daily revenues of 30 to 40 million KRW from other new games, achieving these results should not be difficult."
