[Asia Economy Reporter Park Cheol-eung] Yoon Mi-hyang, the elected member of the Democratic Party of Korea, said on the 29th after a press conference at the National Assembly Communication Office, in response to reporters' question, "Grandmother Lee Yong-soo says she cannot forgive. What do you think?" that "If Grandmother Lee meets me, I will visit her to ask for forgiveness."

She also said, "Grandmother Lee Yong-soo sees me as a betrayer, but in fact, I have been working together with Grandmother Lee for over 30 years since 1992," adding, "I want to apologize now for not being able to gain her trust enough to make her feel betrayed."

Yoon said, "I tried several times to apologize to Grandmother Lee, but I realized that it was only an excuse to her. I want to continue making sincere efforts to convey my feelings to her in the future."
