[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] CJ Logistics announced on the 29th that it will hold the 'Nara Sarang Delivery' event, providing free courier services to national veterans in honor of the Month of Patriots and Veterans in June.
This year marks the 20th year since CJ Logistics began offering free courier services to national veterans in 2001. The number of parcels sent by national merit recipients and their families using the Nara Sarang Delivery service was only 215 in the first year, but in the past three years, it has grown to an average of about 8,200 parcels, showing significant expansion.
National veterans themselves or their primary surviving family members can use this service by calling the CJ Logistics customer center. Following the operator's guidance, they must provide their veteran identification number and register the parcel as Nara Sarang Delivery. When the courier visits, they should present their merit certificate or family certificate. Up to three parcels per person can be registered per day, and the service is available for one month from June 1 to June 30 based on the registration date.
A CJ Logistics official stated, "With respect and gratitude for the veterans and their families who have devoted themselves to the country, we have been operating the Nara Sarang Delivery service for 20 years." He added, "Going forward, based on CJ Group's philosophy of sharing, we will continue to provide various support so that courier services can serve as social overhead capital and a vital industry for the stable lives of the people."
