[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Actor Kim Donghee expressed his anticipation for ‘Human Class’ Season 2.

On the morning of the 7th, Kim Donghee shared various stories about the Netflix original series 'Human Class' during a virtual interview.

'Human Class' is a controversial work depicting high school students who choose the path of crime without guilt to make money and the harsh, irreversible consequences they face as a result. Kim Donghee plays Jisoo, who commits organized crimes driven solely by the determination to earn money.

‘Human Class’ was directed by Kim Jinmin, known for works such as ‘Lawless Lawyer’ and ‘Time Between Dog and Wolf,’ and written by the rookie writer Jin Han-sae.

The series was recently released on Netflix in over 190 countries. Since then, the ending has attracted intense attention. Regarding this, Kim Donghee said, “We filmed multiple versions of the ending. So even I was curious about how it would conclude.”

He continued, “I couldn’t help but wonder what would happen after Jisoo and Gyuri ran away. Maybe it can’t be further developed. They made choices that are unbearable and irreversible. Maybe no one can take full responsibility. When I asked people around me about this, everyone had different opinions. I’m curious too,” he said.

Will there be a Season 2 of ‘Human Class’? Kim Donghee laughed and said, “I want to ask the writer as well.” He added, “Jisoo might meet a new ally or become a wanderer. Jisoo could be punished, or one of Jisoo and Gyuri might betray the other. Various storylines come to mind,” showing his excitement.
