LH Launches 'Jeonse Rental Portal Service'

[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo In-ho] LH will implement the ‘Jeonse Lease Portal Service’ from the 26th, providing online one-stop processing for housing search and move-in processes for Jeonse lease customers, as well as comprehensive information related to Jeonse leases.

The Jeonse Lease Portal is a newly revamped version of the LH Jeonse and Monthly Rent Support Center website, which was established in 2007 to provide various information and consultation services related to Jeonse and monthly rent. In addition to offering a variety of services related to Jeonse leases, it provides a new service with greatly improved user convenience and accessibility through an intuitive screen layout.

The portal offers ‘Jeonse Lease BANK,’ which provides information on available Jeonse lease housing based on maps, and enables online rights analysis that processes rights analysis applications and progress status in a one-stop manner. It also includes an ‘Online Communication Window’ where users can share Q&A and reviews, and a ‘Jeonse Lease Comprehensive Guide’ that provides announcements and project information related to Jeonse leases.

In the case of Jeonse Lease BANK, users can search for houses directly registered or owned by licensed real estate agents and Jiptos Co., Ltd., which is expected to be especially useful for young adults and others who have had difficulties finding target housing.

Jiptos is a company operating offline real estate offices (12 directly managed branches in the Seoul area) and an online application (with 55,000 registered properties). It provides real estate services without brokerage fees.

LH supports part of the brokerage fees for landlords who provide quality housing for long-term Jeonse leases, offering 100,000 KRW for a 2-year contract and full brokerage fee support for contracts of 4 years or longer. LH plans to continuously expand participating companies and target housing by granting mileage and promotional support to brokers actively participating in the Jeonse lease project.

To commemorate the opening of the Jeonse Lease Portal Service, LH will hold three opening events including a ‘Membership Registration Event’ and a ‘Most Listings Registration Event,’ as well as a naming contest for the website.

An LH official stated, “We will expand the provision of customized information related to Jeonse leases to alleviate the concerns of citizens struggling with housing issues,” and added, “We will make greater efforts to strengthen housing stability for vulnerable groups through the activation of the website.”
