Garage Kitchen Dongtan Branch Opens, Securing the Largest Delivery Coverage in Dongtan 2 New City!

Garage Kitchen Dongtan Branch Opens, Securing the Largest Delivery Coverage in Dongtan 2 New City!

Garage Kitchen (CEO Kwon Young-jae), a delivery-specialized full-option individual shared kitchen that can simultaneously generate delivery and in-store sales, is drawing attention by announcing the opening of Garage Kitchen Dongtan Branch in Sancheok-dong, Dongtan 2 New City in June, following the openings of Hanam Branch, Gyeyang Branch, Songpa Branch, and Deungchon Branch.

The location of Garage Kitchen Dongtan Branch is in the SMP Tower commercial building situated at a corner of a central commercial district intersection, with 15,000 households within a 1KM radius, making it the area with the largest number of delivery-possible households in Dongtan 2 New City. Due to development benefits such as the nearby Techno Valley, Culture Design Valley, Waterfront Complex Medical Complex, IKEA, and Lotte Premium Outlet, there is a significant influx of external population, making it an ideal place to simultaneously increase delivery and in-store sales.

Additionally, as a parking tower, it applies a drive-in system, making it convenient for delivery vehicles and motorcycles to enter and exit and for receiving delivery food, optimizing the delivery system. Notably, it is planned to be the first shared kitchen to apply a drive-thru system, making it perfect for delivery-specialized startups.

Moreover, located in the area with the highest population density near the tram stop, express bus stop, and lake park entrance, parking is available on every floor, and it secures more than three times the parking spaces compared to surrounding commercial areas, allowing expectations for in-store sales generation as well.

With the continuous increase of single-person households, the delivery app market using smartphones has grown to a scale of 9 trillion KRW annually, and interest in shared kitchen services is also increasing. Unlike other shared kitchens, Garage Kitchen enables low-capital shared kitchen startups by providing kitchen facilities and equipment desired by tenant brands and companies without any additional costs. It also offers a success startup package for achieving sales in a short period, which includes benefits worth 2 million KRW such as review experience group events and delivery app flag support.

CEO Kwon Young-jae of Garage Kitchen said, "Due to the ongoing economic downturn, it has been difficult to operate restaurants because of sales challenges, rising labor costs, and rent increases, which I personally experienced and conceived a platform to overcome." He added, "Garage Kitchen allows entry with a deposit of 15 million KRW and provides customized facilities and fixtures suitable for the industry and brand, including small cooking appliances. Garage Kitchen supports all necessary preparations for restaurant operation, so anyone can immediately run a professional restaurant with just raw ingredients to cook."

Meanwhile, Garage Kitchen is a delivery-specialized full-option individual shared kitchen, and the two branches opening this time are configured to allow both in-store and delivery services, creating an upgraded form of shared kitchen that can increase not only delivery sales but also in-store sales. In March, an individual shared kitchen combining in-store and delivery platforms is scheduled to open in Deungchon-dong, Gangseo-gu. Deungchon Branch, ranked 4th nationwide in delivery traffic, is a new platform form that combines in-store and delivery sales to achieve additional revenue. Furthermore, through collaboration with the large distribution channel Lotte Mart, the Gwonsun Branch is scheduled to open in April.
