DGB Daegu Bank-Daegu Shinbo, One-Stop Guarantee Consultation Service for Small Business Owners Implemented

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] DGB Daegu Bank (President Kim Tae-o) and Daegu Credit Guarantee Foundation (Chairman Lee Chan-hee) announced on the 8th that they have signed a 'Credit Guarantee Consultation, Document Submission, and On-site Inspection Consignment Agreement' to support local small business owners.

This agreement aims to alleviate the sharp decline in consumer sentiment in the Daegu area, where numerous confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) have occurred. Small business owners have demanded prompt financial support as the damage spread.

According to this agreement, the work process of going back and forth between the Guarantee Foundation and the bank for issuing guarantee certificates and loan applications has been simplified. By introducing a 'one-stop guarantee consultation service,' it has become possible to issue guarantee certificates and apply for loans at DGB Daegu Bank.

In addition, DGB Daegu Bank has established a 'COVID-19 Small Business Rapid Consultation Support Team' to carry out various support tasks. Dedicated consultation counters for COVID-19 affected companies have been set up at 10 regional branch stores in Daegu and Gyeongbuk to support on-site consultations at small business sites.

Furthermore, various financial support projects are being implemented, including free professional consulting for self-employed individuals facing management difficulties and an increase of 100 billion KRW in the limit for low-income financial support. President Kim Tae-o said, "DGB Daegu Bank, which is conducting various financial support programs, will strengthen dedicated support for local small and micro enterprises through this agreement with Daegu Credit Guarantee Foundation and fulfill its role as a leading local company by providing prompt financial support services."
