Next are Songpa-gu with 9 cases, Gangdong-gu and Eunpyeong-gu with 4 cases each, and Seocho-gu with 3 cases.

The 27-year-old male, a member of the Shincheonji Church, resides in Gamsam-dong, Dalseo-gu, Daegu, and is a university student at a university in Daegu. Mayor Jung stated, “Gangnam-gu immediately notified the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Seoul City upon confirmation of the positive cases. This afternoon, the two confirmed patients were transferred to isolation beds at Seoul Municipal Seonam Hospital located in Yangcheon-gu.”
In addition, to prevent local spread of COVID-19, Gangnam-gu identified close contacts of the two confirmed patients and placed them under self-quarantine.
