[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Yeon-ju] Baek Jong-won has launched a project to promote Gongju's specialty products, chestnuts and strawberries, presenting four menu items that capture both taste and visual appeal.

On the 20th, the SBS variety show 'Baek Jong-won's Taste Plaza' featured dishes made with Gongju specialty products sold at the Tancheon Rest Area.

On the broadcast, Baek Jong-won and the Nong Avengers including Kim Hee-chul, Yang Se-hyung, and Kim Dong-jun appeared tense due to the crowd gathering even before the opening. Baek Jong-won responded to the record number of waiting customers by saying, "We will distribute number tickets and prepare breakfast in the meantime."

April Na-eun, who had been an ace part-timer, was brought in and promoted alongside Dong-jun.

Baek Jong-won made chestnut ramen for breakfast. Yang Se-hyung described it as "white jajangmyeon, soybean paste jajangmyeon taste," and Kim Hee-chul praised it highly, saying, "It's really delicious. The taste is truly unfair."

After finishing their meal, they began business in earnest. In the morning, they sold chestnut rice set meals and chestnut cream bread, and in the afternoon, they offered strawberry tiramisu and chestnut red bean ice cream.

A large number of customers gathered from the morning sales. Baek Jong-won expressed satisfaction, saying, "There are more customers than the prepared ingredients. The morning turnover is fast."

Also, Dong-jun was surprised, saying, "The line seems endless," and Yang Se-hyung, who was making chestnut cream bread, said, "Let's stay focused to avoid mistakes."

The strawberry tiramisu, introduced as an afternoon menu item, attracted customers with its appetizing appearance. Customers admired it, saying, "It's so pretty and tastes good too."
