On the 21st, the National Health Commission of China (NHC) announced that as of midnight, there were 411 new confirmed cases and 115 additional deaths in Hubei Province, China.
As a result, the total cumulative number of confirmed cases in China reached 75,465, and the cumulative number of deaths increased to 2,236.
The NHC has been using the "clinical diagnosis case" method for the past week, which confirms cases through additional lung CT scans if symptoms such as fever appear, even if the existing test method shows a negative result.
After excluding clinical diagnosis cases, the number of new confirmed cases in Hubei Province dropped sharply from 1,693 two days ago to 349 yesterday. Today, the new confirmed cases were counted as 411.
