In the episode aired on the afternoon of the 9th on KBS 2TV's 'Love is Beautiful, Life is Wonderful,' Hong Yura (played by Na Younghee) visited Kang Siwol (played by Lee Taeseon) and offered to help her get a retrial. Kang Siwol asked Hong Yura if a retrial was really possible and questioned why her assigned lawyer did not recognize Hong Yura.
In response, Hong Yura evaded the question, saying she had no choice in order to protect herself. However, Kang Siwol kept firing suspicious questions at Hong Yura, who persuaded Kang Siwol with clever answers. She then invited her to come to her house sometime.
Accepting Hong Yura's invitation for a meal, Kang Siwol met Gu Junhui (played by Kim Jaeyoung) at Hong Yura's house. Gu Junhui asked Kang Siwol about Grandma Park Kkeutsun, expressing his desire to know the truth about the case. Kang Siwol relayed what she knew to Gu Junhui.
Gu Junhui questioned Hong Yura suspiciously about why she invited Kang Siwol, the initial reporter of the case, and why she remained silent about witnessing the incident. He then confused Hong Yura by saying he believed his mother would do her best.
Meanwhile, Hong Hwayoung (played by Park Haemi) visited Hong Yura and persistently questioned her about the death of Hong Jungyeom (played by Jin Hoeun), eventually leading Hong Yura to reveal the truth.
